Volunteering with Love for a Child is more than just a week at camp—it’s a life-changing opportunity to step into the story of a child in foster care and discover something new about yourself along the way. As a volunteer, you’ll serve children who’ve experienced deep trauma, offering them the simple gift of being seen, celebrated, and loved without condition. In return, you’ll gain something powerful: a renewed sense of purpose, unexpected joy, and the kind of passion that comes from doing something that truly matters.

All it takes is one moment, taking a chance and everything in your heart shifts. Whether it’s holding a child’s hand during a boat ride, cheering them on as they climb a rock wall, laughing out loud, or sitting with them by a bonfire as they open up about their story, you’ll find that these small moments create big impact—on them and on you. You don’t need to have it all figured out—just a heart willing to show up. Nobody is asking for perfect, just a heart of purpose.
